NATO HLA VERIFICATION & CERTIFICATION
A project of the NATO Modelling Simulation Centre of Excellence
The high-level architecture (HLA) is a NATO interoperability standard. It is used for connecting multiple models and/or simulations – now called federates – into a federation. The HLA standard ensures that the information among the federates are consistent and communicated in a well-defined way. It is described in IEEE 1516 and STANAG 4603.
